2 – Intellectual property and counterfeit

Eurowatt Services is owner of the intellectual property rights and of the rights of use for all elements accessible on the website, including texts, images, graphics, logos, videos, architecture, icons and audio.

Any reproduction, representation, alteration, publication or adaptation of all or part of the elements on the website, through any means or process, is prohibited, without prior written consent from Eurowatt Services.

Any unauthorised use of the site or of any of the elements contained in it will be deemed counterfeit and will be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French intellectual property code.

 

3 – Limits of liability

Eurowatt Services shall not be held liable for direct or indirect damages to the user’s equipment, when accessing our website.

Eurowatt Services disclaims all liability concerning any use of information and content from our website.

Eurowatt Services agrees to secure our website to the best of its ability; however its liability shall not be incurred if unwanted data is imported and installed without its knowledge on our website.

Interactive areas (contact or comments fields) are available to users. Eurowatt Services reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any content placed in this area that contravenes applicable laws in France, particularly provisions concerning data protection.

If appropriate, Eurowatt Services also reserves the possibility of invoking the user’s civil and/or criminal liability, particularly in the event of racist, insulting, defamatory or pornographic messages, on any media (including texts and photos).

 

4 – Management of personal data

When submitting a contact request or comment via our website, the user may transmit certain personal data (first and last name, email address, information about their request or comment).

Eurowatt Services agrees to take the appropriate measures to protect this personal data in accordance with European regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 known as “General Data Protection Regulation” (GDPR).

Processing of personal data

By communicating this information, the user explicitly agrees that it will be collected, processed and stored for the following purposes and in accordance with this confidentiality policy.

  • Processing of a job or internship application
  • Processing of any other request
 

Eurowatt Services agrees that this personal data shall be stored for the time required for the purposes of collection as mentioned above, not to exceed 24 months.

The recipient of the user’s personal data is Eurowatt Services and the affiliates comprising the Eurowatt group, and may not be transmitted to third parties. Neither Eurowatt services nor any of the Eurowatt group affiliates may sell this personal data.

 

5 – Hypertext links and cookies

Our website contains hypertext links to other sites and Eurowatt Services declines any liability resulting from external links or links created by other sites to our website.

Browsing our website may cause cookies to be installed on the user’s computer.

A cookie is a small file that records information about a user’s browsing on a site. Data thus obtained is used to compile anonymous statistics (number of visitors, pages visited, technology used, etc.).

The user is able to accept or refuse cookies by directly changing the parameters of their browsing software. No cookie will be installed without their consent.

Cookies are saved for a maximum period of 1 month.

 

6 – Applicable law and assignment of jurisdiction

Any dispute concerning the use of our website is subject to French law. Aside from cases where the law does not permit it, cases are assigned exclusively to the competent courts of Paris.
