The Eurowatt Group is an independent producer of power (IPP) from renewable sources, established in 1994. It is wholly owned by Virya Energy, the renewable energy subsidiary of the largest Belgian distributor, Colruyt Group and Korys, the investment fund of the Colruyt family.

As a pioneer in wind power, we have built up a significant presence in France, with 32 onshore wind farms, located mainly in the Hauts-de-France region but also in Centre-Val de Loire, for an installed capacity of 327 MW.

Through our subsidiaries Eurowatt Développement, Eurowatt Services and Eurowatt Exploitation, we can claim comprehensive and recognised expertise in the entire value chain of renewable energy production projects, whether wind, hydro or solar power. Our teams are therefore involved in the entire life cycle of projects, starting with the development, construction, financing and operation of wind farms, as well as the repowering or dismantling of facilities that have reached the end of their lifetime.

Now present in several European countries, we operate three wind farms in Portugal and Poland, as well as three mini hydroelectric power plants in Spain and Portugal.
